Double Wedding Ring Quilt | c. 1930–1950
A charming example of the beloved American Double Wedding Ring pattern, this vintage quilt features interlocking rings of colorful floral prints, cheerful ginghams, and soft pastel cottons, punctuated by striking red-and-green patchwork intersections. Beautifully hand-quilted against a creamy white background, its scalloped edges and softly crinkled texture reflect generations of American quiltmaking tradition. A wonderfully nostalgic, one-of-a-kind textile, full of color, character, and handmade charm.
American, circa 1930–1950.
This quilt is thick, and has quite a bit of loft. The backing is a beautiful cream.
The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
Fit features slouchy shoulders and a generous drape.
As an example, I am 5'7 and wear the classic, while a petite will work best for those 5'4 and smaller :)
