The Hearts & Gizzards Quilt Jacket | c. 1900–1930

A little bit of history, a whole lot of heart.

Made from an antique American quilt dating to the early 20th century, this one-of-a-kind jacket features the charmingly named Hearts & Gizzards pattern. Delicate heart-shaped pieces in faded red and soft ivory come together to create a playful, almost floral design.

The classic red-and-white palette, beautiful quilting, and perfectly imperfect character make this one especially good. A little Americana, a little romance, and the kind of piece you’ll reach for year after year.

Thoughtfully reimagined into a wearable piece of history, each Hadley Grove quilt jacket celebrates the craftsmanship and stories of the past while giving an old quilt a new life.

This quilt is thin, but has nice loft. The backing is a beautiful white.

The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.

Fit features slouchy shoulders and a generous drape.

As an example, I am 5'7 and wear the classic, while a petite will work best for those 5'4 and smaller :)
