This striking Lone Star quilt—also known as the Star of Bethlehem—is composed of hundreds of precisely cut cotton diamonds arranged to form a single radiating eight-point star. The maker’s careful placement of soft pastels—pinks, lavenders, butter yellow, and blues—against a white ground creates a luminous, dimensional effect characteristic of Depression-era quiltmaking, circa 1930-1950

 This quilt is light, and has just a bit of loft. The backing is a beautiful creamy white . If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video. 

The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.

Fit features slouchy shoulders and a generous drape.

As an example, I am 5'7 and wear the classic, while a petite will work best for those 5'4 and smaller :)

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
